| Chun Wo was founded in 1968 as a construction company and listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in 1993 (Stock Code: 711). Over the years, the Group has diversified from its core construction services into other business areas, including property development, professional property services and investment. Geographically, the Group has presence in Mainland China, Macau, Taiwan, Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand and Abu Dhabi. With our core business in construction and property development, Chun Wo continues to seek opportunities in Hong Kong and abroad.
Boasting 40 years of experience and success in the construction business, the Group has completed a distinguished portfolio of construction projects in both the public and private sectors, fully armed with a range of capabilities in building construction, civil engineering, foundations, electrical and mechanical engineering, fitting out works, railway and track works. Large scale infra-structure and building construction projects that the Group recently participates in include Hong Kong International Airport SkyPlaza, railway projects, design and build viaducts for the Hong Kong Government and other prestigious residential and commercial buildings for private sector.
For property development, the Group has actively participated in the development of residential, commercial and resort projects in Hong Kong and Mainland China, such as Grand View Garden, Grandeur Terrace (the largest project under Private Sector Participation Scheme); No.8 Clear Water Bay Road (a residential property project jointly developed with MTR Corporation); Arc De Royal in Shijiazhuang, Hebei Province (the Group’s largest property development in the PRC); Hong Kong City and a resort and recreation centre in Yixing, Jiangsu Province; and The Metropolis in Yangzhou, Jiangsu Province.
Leveraging on our experience in property development, Chun Wo also participated as one of the joint venture partners in the development of the largest property development project in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam – Saigon Pearl, which is a commercial and residential project along the Saigon River. Besides, Chun Wo also marched into the property market in Abu Dhabi, which is the capital and second most populous city in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Smartwill Asia Ltd., Chun Wo’s subsidiary developer in Abu Dhabi, was established in 2007 to overlook and expolore local business opportiunites. |
